"The situation I was facing was needing to move my elderly Aunt from Staten Island to Seattle in a very quick time frame. During this period, I had to find an agent that would help me prepare and sell the family house. The caveat to this was I would be doing this remotely and needed help with the whole process. I started making calls to various companies (movers, paper shredding services, car transportation, estate sales, donations and junk removers) and I was getting no where with any of them. I then moved on to interviewing real estate agents. This was pretty basic and all the agents were essentially the same – which isn’t good or bad. When I asked if they had contacts for the various services I would need to clean the house out and get it ready, the answers weren’t firm. At this time, a family friend gave me Marion’s number and said this was the only person I should be talking to. An hour after I called Marion, she was at my Aunts house, we were going over the situation and she was addressing every concern I had. As we went through my list of what had to be done, Marion was giving me names and phone numbers of people that could get the various jobs done. She was sharing this information with me without having a commitment to be the agent. Our initial meeting was about two hours and I during this time, all the anxiety and stress that had been building up over the last few months were quickly dissipating. Before Marion left that afternoon, I knew she was going to be my agent, but it’s better stated that she was my partner. I am using the word partner because this four month transaction felt like a partnership. I felt very at ease with Marion from the moment we met and we worked really well together. We each handled different aspects of the clean out process and had frequent check ins via email, text and phone calls to ensure things were being handled. Through her contacts, everything was done expertly and efficiently. Marion had her eye on everything and was handling aspects of this that I had not anticipated. Marion had a solution for everything that popped up and she turned what was looking to be a very messy and involved process into a quick and efficient transaction. I cannot say enough about Marrion. You will not find a better partner for buying or selling a house in the New York area. She took a very difficult circumstance and made it a very smooth and easy process for me. I’m extremely grateful for having had the opportunity to have met Marion. I don’t think anyone else could have helped me do what she did in a four month period. It was actually pretty amazing. Which is a great way to describe Marion."
